Why this fast travel step fits
fast travel has three useful layers: trains funded by a shared 10,000 Bones payment, mirrors into Astral Orrery routes, and Poppit Shop holes for Ossex-bordering areas.

fast travel stations
5 trains
The main fast travel train network connects Ossex, Backwaters, Kindlewood, Sandfalls, and Coltrane Peak station routes.
fast travel mirrors
Astral routes
fast travel also relies on mirror routes when Astral Orrery progression becomes important.
The train network is the most practical fast travel layer for region cleanup. You can donate Bones toward the shared 10,000 Bones train fund at any station.
| fast travel station | Area | Location note |
|---|---|---|
| Bowery | Ossex | Main station north of the Bowery area near the Western Hills route. |
| Shanty Swamp | Backwaters | Southeast corner of the second main screen with platforms and bugs. |
| Farm Crossing | Kindlewood | On the route before Schoolhouse and Septemburg. |
| Sandy Station | Sandfalls | South of Sifted Sands; clear the TNT route in the lower-right area. |
| Frigid Station | Coltrane Peak | Reached through the train route or by scaling north of Eastern Heath. |
fast travel trains are worth funding before long cleanup. The earlier you can afford the shared 10,000 Bones payment, the sooner every revisit becomes cheaper.
Deposit Bones toward trains when you are about to enter risky routes. The fund can be paid over time, so partial progress still helps.
Once stations are discovered, trains turn trinket cleanup, mirror cleanup, and late route checks into smaller loops.
fast travel is not only trains. Mirrors move Mina into Astral Orrery routes and can be required when late progression depends on mirror switches.
Step 1
If you see a mirror, note the area. Later Astral Orrery progression is much easier when your fast travel mirror list is already started.
Step 2
Use trains to reach regions, then mirrors to solve Astral Orrery route checks. This combination prevents the worst late-game backtracking.
A smaller fast travel layer opens after finding all three Poppit Shop locations. This helps move around areas bordering Ossex.
| fast travel Poppit route | Destination clue |
|---|---|
| Western Wilds / Molten Foundry | Red cracked tile and brown hole. |
| Southern Outskirts / Commons | Orange square tile and blue hole. |
| Eastern Heath / Grassland | Grey square tile and dark grey hole. |
Bad fast travel planning usually means walking across the whole island with too many Bones, missing stations, or delaying mirrors until the story needs them.
| Mistake | Better fast travel habit |
|---|---|
| Waiting until the end to fund trains | Deposit toward the 10,000 Bones fund when you have extra Bones. |
| Finding stations but not noting them | Track stations as route anchors for future cleanup. |
| Ignoring mirrors | Use the mirrors guide before Astral Orrery routing becomes urgent. |
| Carrying too many Bones into Bone Beach | Bank or donate before long puzzle routes and boss gates. |
| Using fast travel without a checklist | Pair fast travel with trinket, mirror, and region notes. |
